The soldiers are all professional lumberjacks from Quebec and British Columbia. Various shots of men sawing trees trunks into 10 ft logs and rolling them into a river. The logs travel down river and are lifted into a saw mill via a conveyor belt. Various shots of circular saw cutting the logs into planks. The planks are then stacked mechanically. C/U of two of the lumberjacks smoking.
