    The firemen pull the engine out of the station. M/S of the horse attached to the front. M/S as they ride up the street and other firemen pull ladders and equipment on carts. Various shots as the firemen jump off and pull a hose up, M/S as they pump the handles on the engine in front of a burning house, C/U of men pumping it with people watching in background.

    Intertitle - 'The Brigade Captain Mr W. H. Hoskin is 71 years old.'

    M/S of Captain Hoskin who has a white beard, he is stood by the engine, the year 1765 is visible on it.
