Journalist T.P. O'Connor is seen at home - taking snuff, playing with his dog and typing.
Mr T.P. O'Connor, "Father of the House", famous journalist and film censor is visited "at home".
He calls himself "Fleet Street's youngest Editor - 75 years young today!" C/U of the man as he puts his glasses on. We see him sitting at his desk in the open air typing. A woman comes over and takes away the piece of paper. She puts on her glasses and then we see a C/U of the words that T.P. has typed. It is almost illegible, lots of missed spaces and corrections. His secretary agrees that he is the world's worst typist. She scribbles some notes on the paper then prepares to retype.
"Mickey" T.P.s dog is filmed. as they play together. T.P.s "hobby" is snuff. He presents his collection of snuff boxes to the camera. He then takes a pinch of snuff. The secretary returns and he continues with his work.
