    Various shots of sugar cane being crushed in a special machine by men in the Bahamas. The cane is fed into one side of the horse powered machine, the fibre remains come out the other side and the juice flows out and into a large bowl. Visuals cut out from 01:03:34 to 01:03:45; soundtrack continues.

    M/S of a horse eating from a nosebag made from palm leaves. Several shots of baskets, mats and hats being plaited together from palms. At a bazaar or market we see the finished items laid out for sale on tables. Visuals cut out again a few seconds before the end of the story.
