    Interior workshop as a team of men assemble a bus, welding, hammering, metal cutting, beating, screwing, painting and finishing, interior fitting. Newly built bus is driven away. Scenics of Galloway district. Bus drives along a country road and stops to pick up a farmer. Driving past Galloway cattle. Bus stops for five more passengers and arrives at Dumfries Bus Depot. Top shot of Edinburgh and castle. Bus driver gets onto his bus, sign "On Tour". Luggage is loaded. Bus passes a Lock. Shots of passengers and driver. The bus travels on to Loch Lomond. Tankers berthed at Loch Long. Oil is being discharged by pipe line to refineries at Grangemouth. Shots of refinery. Bus overtakes a Shell / Esso oil tanker. Gorge and running water at Glen Coe. A piper plays in traditional highland dress. Scenics near Ben Nevis and the Command Memorial Statue. Abbey at Fort Augustus, views of the buildings and Loch Ness. Passengers walk through the ruins of Urquart Castle at Drumnadrochit.

    Driving along country road to Inverness. Arriving town and crossing bridge to a valley leading to Loch Morie. Scenics around the Loch. Road making en route. Passengers start to sing accompanied by a harmonica. The coach stops at sandy bay. A man in a swimming costume runs across the dunes and sand and dives into the sea. The passengers start jiving to the mouth organ and clapping hands. Through the woods of Breymore to Badachro, bus drives through fishing village with white washed houses. The road is blocked by highland cattle, sheep, and a lone deer. The passengers feed it sugar lumps. The bus continues up the West Coast through dramatic highland scenery, mountains and Lochs, with a sunset over the Summer Isles. On to Caithness, flat scenics and ploughing. Past the nuclear station at Dounreay to John O'Groats. Shots of the sea and coastline.
