    Burnley vs Liverpool FA cup semi-final played at Ewood Park BLACKBURN, in front of 53,000 on 29th March 1947. The match finished 0-0 so went to a replay. At Maine Road Manchester (City's old ground) the replay was won 1-0 by Burnley in front of 72,000, so won through to the final against Charlton.
