• Short Summary

Wollersdorf concentration camp in Austria is burned to the ground by the Nazis.

  • Description

    Wollersdorf, Austria.

L/S panning across the concentration camp of Wollersdorf near Vienna. A man in German (Nazi) army uniform pulls some barbed-wire barriers away from one of the buildings. Two German officers walk through one of the camp dormitories. Commentator explains most of the prisoners that were kept here were agitators who used force to try and overthrow the Austrian Government; some were gunmen and political murderers.

Several shots of the camp being burned to the ground at night by the Nazis. A crowd of watching soldiers and officers (may be some civilians among them) do the Nazi salute and hold huge swastika flags as the fire rages.
