Audience clapping. SCU. Earl Mountbatten, Earl of Burma, standing at microphone to introduce the Duke of Edinburgh. Earl speaks (natural sound): "I want to point out that he isn't really a guest.... so I now ask the Duke of Edinburgh to speak to you." Applause and the Duke rises. SCU. Members of audience clapping. SCU. Duke at microphone. Prince Philip speaks (natural sound): "In spite of a certain amount of neglect and in spite of a certain amount of interest... any budding international gangsters that they will get the same treatment as the last lot." GV. People applauding. SV. Duke continues: "I hope you all enjoy yourselves... and I only hope the beer lasts out." Applause.
