    After World War One - Burial of France's Unknown Soldier at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France.

    Veteran officer stands holding a velvet cushion with medals pinned on it. Group of government and military representatives shaking hands with each other. French soldiers in battle dress carrying flag-draped coffin through narrow door in stone wall, walking past other soldiers & veterans & setting coffin down. A government minister (Jean Louis Barthou?) takes cushion & places it on coffin, he then makes a speech (eulogy). Soldiers pick up coffin with ropes. Shots of soldiers in a line holding flags. Shot pallbearer soldiers lowering coffin into grave. Wide shot crowd in front the Arc, people begin to place wreaths on stone block which will be sealed over grave. CU block with many flowers on it. Shots of women (widows & mothers of deceased) going up & placing flowers on grave, some cross themselves.
