BRITISH GUIANA BAND 1923 - 1930. Not sure of the location, most probably a British barracks. The elderly gent described as possibly the 'Governor of Guiana' is Lt. Colonel John Mackenzie-Rogan (1856 - 1932), who had been Director of Music, Coldstream Guards from 1896 to 1920. It looks very much as this clip was made after he left the Guards, so could date to the mid or late 1920's.
