    Various air shots of Cassidy Airfield on Christmas Island where the first H-bomb test explosion is about to take place. Various types of RAF (Royal Air Force) planes are seen. Long shot of Valiant bomber taking off - probably to drop the bomb. Men in protective clothing are seen on the control ship "Narvik" - they will observe the test explosion. Plane in flight. Cut to the men in protective clothing on the ship getting ready for the explosion. Men in front of a huge command board getting ready. Men in protective clothing observing it from deck of the boat. Cut back to a mushroom. Long shots of the explosion - heath wave is seen spreading across the land and mushroom slowly forming over it. Amazing low angle shot, from the base of mushroom, it looks like a huge tornado. More amazing shots of the explosion.
