Full title reads: "Cleveland, America. Britain's Flying Ace. Flt - Lt Atcherley - of Schneider Cup fame - thrills thousands with his amazing aerobatics at National Air Races."
Cleveland, (Ohio, Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee), United States of America.
C/U Flight Lieutenant Atcherley - he says through a demonstration of 'crazy flying' he is going to show how much a modern plane can take. 'Flying students please note that this should be done on other people's aeroplanes - not your own."
A biplane comes in to land - it flies very slowly and comes down with quite a bump. While it is on the ground he turns sharply and drags the wing tip along the ground. He then turns the other way and does the same.
The plane flies low over the ground - it is going very slowly and is fish tailing and flying at very odd angles. It again comes down to land with a bump and drags it wingtip.
Another bumpy landing and more potentially damaging wing manoeuvres.
