    Car No.1 at the start is Seagrave's Straight-8 Talbot.

    The French winners were Robert Senechal & Louis Wagner in a Straight-8 Delage

    1926 RAC Grand Prix at Brooklands 7th August 1926 110 laps of 2.61-mile course (287 miles) 00:10-00:15 – the cars lined up at the start are (nearest to camera) Albert Divo, Talbot 700 (car #1); Robert Benoist, Delage 15-S-8 (car #2); Captain George Eyston, Aston Martin Special (car #3); Major Frank Halford, Halford Special (car #5, largely obscured behind Eyston’s Aston Martin), Jules Moriceau, Talbot 700 (car #6, entirely obscured by the Halford Special), Malcolm Campbell, Bugatti Type 39A (car #7), Major Henry Segrave, Talbot 700 (car #9). Beyond Segrave’s Talbot is the Delage 15-S-8 of Louis Wagner (car #10).
