    GV. Runners in a mass start off the international cross-country race. They are running towards and past camera. LV. King Baudouin of Belgium watching from his box. GV. Contestants running towards and past camera, & SV. Coming past runner No 110 Jouret of Belgium, followed by other runners. Ken Norris coming along. LV. Small jump, Jouret takes it, followed by Ken Norris and Frank Sando who start to go through water jump. LV. Towards the jump. Other runners coming over it. SV. Runner falls head first into the water and others continuing to jump over. SV. Towards, Jouret followed closely by Norris and Sando. SV. Other runners following up including runner 109 Marcel Van de Wattyne of Belgium. SV. Runners approaching a ditch. Runner No 17 Basil Heatly closely followed by runner Jouret and then Sando. Pan with them as they make towards a jump. Heatly jumps, then Jouret and Sando. SV. Other runners approaching the previous ditch. SV. Pan, Sando now takes the initiative, racing away on his own, back on what looks like a racecourse track. LV. Sando coming towards camera, breaks the tape. CU. King Baudouin listening to somebody, he starts to turn away. SV. Three British winners on the stand. Sando in the middle, Norris on his left and Heatly on his right. King Baudouin puts medal on ribbon over Sando's head and stands back. SV. The three standing to attention with King in front of them. SCU. The three British athletes.
