Title: "BRITAIN STILL BUILDS BEST SHIPS. Viscountess Novar christens & launches magnificent Orient Liner 'Oronsay'."

M/S of the Viscountess standing on a flag adorned balcony surrounded by officials and dignitaries. Low angled shot of the enormous vessel sliding down a launch ramp, the ship enters the water with a giant splash, in the foreground we see a docker watching, the vessel is attached to dock by large chains - as the chains get pulled tight mounds of earth rise up.

Various L/Ss of the 'Oronsay' on the River Clyde. M/S of two men walking along the deck of the liner. M/S of the two men chatting - look like they could be important, engineers or designers perhaps? Low angled shot of a sailor climbing the mast, he unfolds a St. George's Cross flag that had become wrapped around the mast, he slides down the rigging - camera tilts down to follow him.

More shots of the Viscountess chatting with dignitaries in the enclosure. More L/Ss of the great liner on the River Clyde. Various shots of the ship in dock next to a large crane.
