    0.48 in: "SV RAF (Royal Air Force) Officer and woman looking on."

    The woman in uniform on the right is Joan Mortimer.

    On her right is Elspeth Henderson. Both were WAAFs who were awarded the Military Medal for their actions at Biggin Hill during the battle.
