Captain Bert Hinkler arrives at Hanworth after flying the South Atlantic.
Full title reads: "Hanworth. Britain is supreme in the Air - Machine and Man! 'Hats off' to Bert Hinkler, home again after shattering 'all sorts of records', including first flight across Atlantic in a light 'puss moth'.
Hanworth Aerodrome, London.
Captain Hinkler's small plane taxies across the airfield. A crowd gather around the plane as comes to a halt.
He is carried shoulder high to a podium where he is kissed by a waiting woman - perhaps his wife.
An unidentified man makes a speech of welcome to the record breaking pilot. Hinkler then makes a speech of thanks. He is particular in giving praise to Lord Wakefield, a benefactor to the flight.
Shots of Hinkler standing in front of a large map showing his flight path across the South Atlantic. MS of him as he explains his route.
