Full title reads: "Tilbury. 'Bring those Ashes back please?' M.C.C. Team leave for Australia in Orient Liner 'Orontes'. May good luck go with them!"

    Tilbury, Essex.

Members of the English MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) on deck of the liner 'Orontes' in Tilbury docks. They shake hands with the Captain of the ship. They are introduced to the Captain (among the audible names are Leyland and Harold Larwood, Duckworth, Brown, Allen, Bruce Mitchell, Painter, Powell).

One of the team or personnel speaks to the newsreels (Douglas Jardine I think - JH) - thanking everyone for the warm send off. He hopes they will return with the Ashes.
