    The race was held on 7 April 1968.

    "C/U front of car driven by Bruce McLaren" - that's the number 34 car. McLaren was partnered in the car by Mike Spence, (not Denny Hulme, as the commentator says, due to a driver change).

    "C/U car driven by Dick Thompson" - it's a Howmet TX Continental.

    "C/U car driven by Joakim Bonnier" - that's the No. 2 car, a Lola T70 Mk 3 Chevrolet, (note that Joakim Bonnier was far better known as Jo Bonnier).

    "driver Jo Siffert changes places with Gerhard Mitter" - that's what the commentator says, but a driver change meant that Siffert actually handed over to Hans Herrmann.

    "Redman and Jackie Ickx wearing garlands of flowers sitting in car" - it's a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow.
