    Exterior. M/S of Mr Harold Loynes fixing / adjusting motorcycle. C/U of Harold and motorcycle, the camera pans across it. C/U of Harold working on the motorcycle.

    C/U of Mrs Loynes fastening up the strap of a motorcycle helmet for her son, Clive. The helmet has 'Victoria' written on it. M/S of Clive running over to his father and getting on to the motorcycle. C/U of Harold showing him what to do and M/S of him guiding Clive along the path. The narrator tells us Clive is 7 years old and has already had a year's experience on a motorcycle.

    L/S of Clive riding across the Waltham Downham scramble course near Reading, the narrator refers to it is as Scrambling or Moto-Cross. Various shots of Clive riding the course on his German motorcycle ( a Vicky 3) which has been modified by his father.

    C/U of Jack Stocker who is technical team manager to the British 6 day team, he is advising Clive on his technique. C/U of Harold.

    C/U of the motorbike coming down the hill. M/S of Clive riding up the hill towards the camera and shots of him riding away from it.

    M/S of Mrs Loynes with two younger boys, Keith who is 6 and Simon who is a toddler in her arms, he is holding a spanner and they are all watching Clive. Mrs Loynes points towards him.
