    Various shots show England cricketer Colin Cowdrey setting up his bowling machine in his garden with the help of his neighbour Mr Watson. Then Colin, in cricket whites, stands at a wicket and practises his batting technique while the machine spits cricket balls out at him; Mr Watson feeds the balls through a chute at the side of the contraption. The machine is adjusted to spin each delivery.
