Various dignitaries look around the boat, including the West German Ambassador (Hasso von Etzdorf), his wife, the German Naval attache Captain Rueggeberg and director of the shipbuilders Owen R. Guard. Panning shot in the engine room of the "Pfeil" where men are working on electrical and other fittings.

    Various shots ambassador's wife launching another patrol boat, the "Strahl". She smashes a bottle of champagne on the hull and it slides down the slipway.
