    Boat drill on Mauretania (or Aquitania?).

    MS lifeboats pulled by tug; liner in background. Pan port side from stern; decks are crowded. Cut to crew rowing at fast speed; the coxswain standing and making arm motions. A few boats row past. MS man standing on ship's deck. Winning team pose with trophy; 'Aquitania' ring and crossed oars. They pass round trophy cup; drinking something from it and laughing. MS coxswain on deck holding trophy; he shakes hands with crew members as they pass.

    MS looking along the midsection of the liner as boats begin to be lowered from upper deck. Good shot looking down at boats lowering; sailors in the boats letting ropes out. Back to wide shot; boats now lowered into water; seagulls flying around.

    Another good shot; looking straight down at lifeboat floating in water; boats start to move away from ship.

    Title - 'Passengers embarking into lifeboats through ship's side doors'.
    Passengers wait by lower door to exit (shot from interior). Then from exterior. Passengers boarding lifeboat through lower side door.

    Title - 'Lifeboats loaded with passengers and crew, being lowered into the water'.
    Lifeboat packed full of people lowered into water; crew members hold oars vertically. They begin to row away. MS some boats being lowered as others row away.

    Title - 'Cunard steamers carry powerful motorboats equipped with wireless, and they are used for towing and helping the lifeboats generally'.
    Motorboat from the Cunard liner pulls the lifeboats in a line (now only crew members in boats).

    Title - '0.15 or ten minutes after the "abandon ship" signal was made, the first section of the boats had left the ship'. CU clock; (time 12:15).

    Title - 'Second line of lifeboats being cleared away, swung out and lowered into the water'. Men on deck move second line of boats into position to be lowered; various shots from deck and from off ship.

    Title - 'Clock at 0.25 or twenty minutes after "abandon ship" signal, all boats had left the ship'.
