• Short Summary

A traditional ceremony in France where men fire blunderbusses at the ground.

  • Description

    France.

Various shots of a traditional ceremony and procession that involves men in old-fashioned army uniforms carrying a religious (?) statue along the street of a coastal town (?), and firing blunderbusses at the ground. The commentator attempts to explain but is interrupted each time by the sound of the gunfire. He never does tell us - perhaps Pathe didn't know?
