    VS Technicians making final adjustments to the top of the Black Arrow Second Stage rocket (built by Westland Helicopters Ltd) and its motor as it stands in its gantry prior to test firing. LS Engineers working on balcony, pan down rocket. LS Rocket gantry set in hillside above Needles, pan out to sea. VS Technicians at work filling motor with HTP (High Temperature Peroxide) fuel wearing protective clothing. VS Interior, the blockhouse prior to test firing of the rocket motor. VS CU Dials, switches, flashing lights, countdown clock counters and technicians monitoring the controls that will perform the count-down sequence for rocket take-off. CU Finger pressing button for sequence firing. MS Sequence officer counting down over the mike. MS Technicians checking first stage motor of Black Arrow. Various LS and MS of test firing the motor as it sits in its gantry on hillside. Clouds of steam, etc., are emitted from base.
