  • Description

Students in fancy dress and on floats for Birmingham University's Rag Week.

    No titles.

Various shots of students from Birmingham University in fancy dress, on floats and on foot in the city during their rag carnival. Large crowds watch the parade; the students hold upturned umbrellas to catch coins thrown by the crowd. One float with a devil and hell theme has a banner reading 'Fork out now - you can't take it with you, and if you did, it would melt'. Others are dressed as black and white minstrels, babies, fishermen, Scotsmen, pirates and laundry workers.
