Len Hill has a collection of flamingos, macaws, penguins and parrots at his Cotswold home.

Various birds are seen - a mynah bird, two new guinea crown pigeons, two leadbeater cockatoos, Len's daughter Rosemary with a scarlet macaw, school children sketching some pelicans. Len is seen persuading a macaw to go to bed by coaxing him inside, and shutting the door of a high barrel cage using a stick. There are doves on dovecote, hornbills, and a toucan holding a grape.
