    C/U of Indian newspaper headline telling of largest convoy ever to reach India. Aerial shots of very large convoy on arrival in India. The Allied troops are here to "defend India from the menace which threatens her from without". Good shots of convoy. Brief shots of planes of the Indian Air Force circling overhead.

    Various shots on board the troopships of the new arrivals who come from various Allied countries. C/U of the captain of one of the troopships saying how glad he is to have transported the troops across. He ends by saying they will go on to prove that what is British is good.

    Troops transfer from ship to quay via smaller ships and some come ashore on the cargo slings! Montage of Indian and British soldiers marching on parade ground of their new camp, also anti aircraft guns and tanks lined up.

    Note: Captain's speech is slightly out of synch and may need to be adjusted.
