    Top shot, big room full of people seated at small tables, applauding. Mr P. E. Verstone rises to read the message from the King (natural sound). He thanks all attending... welcome to the Australian Cricket team... the best wishes... etc. Applause as he finishes. British Prime Minister, Mr Ramsey Macdonald. He also welcomes Australia's cricketers - applause. Australian cricketer (William Malden Woodfull?) thanks for reception... talks about 52 ashtrays being stolen at a similar reception four years ago. Then he says there were only 18 Australians at the table... - people laugh. He thanks again and sits down. Another man starts talking - everybody laughs. Woman sitting next to him seems greatly amused.
