Appears to be an amalgamation of several stories after First World War.
Berlin - Lord Mayor Vermuth etc.
M/S of Lord Mayor Vermuth (?). M/Ss of suited dignitaries walking along street. Shot of Roman Catholic religious procession; probably southern Germany or Austria; c. 1920's (some of the clothing looks like that region- -Tyrollean hats; lederhosen; etc.). People in costumes ride on wagons on streets lined with spectators. MS another horse-drawn wagon approaching; on it are young girls dressed in white robes; a statue of a saint by a little model of a church; on the back a nun and group of children. Wagon full of young women or teenage girls.
World War One; aftermath. Rebuilding in occupied Germany after war. Dismantling damaged aeroplanes. Men bashing at ruined aircraft; then stacking up pieces. Workers building bridge. Loading bricks into wheelbarrow-type container on train tracks; young boys are helping. Occupation; construction; demolition.
Funeral of King Alexander of Greece.
Shots from high above of funeral procession. Closer view of coffin; flowers; etc. CU the body lying in state; flowers draped over corpse.
Miniature figures historical. Location of events unknown.
Bizarre series of tableaux of puppets or miniature figures; some dressed in 18th century type costumes; some look human, others odd and gnome-like. Some in fancy dress; representing royalty or nobility. These little dolls are arranged in various settings; perhaps illustrating a story? Also a strange bit with a group of figures in white dresses or robes around a cauldron like witches; while in background other little figures are seen through arches; whisking past. Tableau of servants in a kitchen. Then a stop-motion shot of 2 monsters- - like thick lumpy clay humans with misshapen heads - grinding and pounding things in bowl, between them stands a small wizard / magician / sorcerer in a pointed hat; and facing him another human figure. Another tableau follows: some sort of village scene. Oddities; art; 1920's?
