    WS Exterior of the Savoy Cinema. MS Poster "The Bells of St Mary's starring Bing Crosby and Ingrid Bergman". WS the waiting crowd outside. MS Two man in evening suits enter the cinema. The narrator tells us that the evening was headed by the President of Eire and Mrs Sean O'Kelly. Also present were five cabinet ministers and distinguished members of government, municipal and church bodies. The guests gather in the foyer. Much handshaking. A group pose for cameras. Morris Elliman arrives and a Bishop. Mrs Fitzsimmons (mother of film star Maureen O'Hara). Dr Ryan, Minister of Agriculture. Crowd shot of the foyer. The Lord Mayor of Dublin. The Spanish minister and his wife. Mr Woolf, MD of RKO Radio meets Mr & Mrs Grey. Colonel Jack Version from RKO Studio. David E Griffith from International Pictures. Crowds outside the theatre. The President of Eire and Mrs Sean O'Kelly arrive, they are greeted by Mr Elliman, MD of Irish Cinemas Ltd. A song performed by Bing Crosby plays alongside the narration. Mrs O'Kelly is presented with a bouquet. They pose for the cameras. Outside, the camera pans along a very long queue of people waiting for tickets. End title 'Coming to this theatre soon'.
