  • Short Summary

Footage of Belgium delegates including King Albert before they leave for USA.

  • Description

    Belgium's mission to USA.

World War One; international relations; diplomacy. Belgium's mission to USA; to meet with President Woodrow Wilson and U.S. government and military leaders. Opens with shot of King Albert of Belgium holding a little dog. Then a group of men on steps; with Navy officer in FG. More men; coming out of a door and posing for picture. Another photo op: pan left to right on the group; with a row sitting in front; another standing behind them. More on steps. Then shot of 2 cars driving past a group of American soldiers who all wave hats. No date on this but it seems likely that Belgium may be trying to persuade the United States to give military assistance.
