    Titles read: 'Bedford River Pageant.'

    Historical pageant; enacted in 1920s. Depicts Viking attack on English village. Vikings in boat coming up Ouse River; going under bridge. There is a huge battle scene; w/ the Vikings attacking a primitive looking fort. A lot of dead people scattered over the park (some look surprisingly perky, considering they have just been slain - SL).

    CU shots of 2 young men in modern British Army uniforms put bandages on 2 of the actors who were really injured in the performance. CU man in friar costume; bicycle leans on fence in BG. Procession of actors from the pageant.

    Violence; theatre; entertainment; war games.
