    Various slates during the footage reveal the cameraman to have been Mark Armistead, of the O.S.S.

    The Coxwain of this landing craft is Leading Seaman Herbert James Peach of the British Navy. The troops were Canadian that he was taking to Juno Beach (St Auburn in Normandy, France).
    He will be 94 on 11th June 2018 and can still remember that day clearly. He was required to turn the camera on as they approached the beach.
