    Titles read: 'The New Empire Review now presents the first pictures of the BBC Symphony Orchestra (Leader... Arthur Catterall). Conducted by Adrian Boult. Millions of listeners have heard this famous Orchestra - here it is on the screen. (filmed at the Queen's Hall - London).'

    Conductor Adrian Boult introduces the piece saying that the BBC Orchestra are going to play part of Elgar's 'First Pomp & Circumstance March' - "The one that includes the tune 'Land of Hope & Glory'". At the end of this stirring piece we heard audience applauding as Boult bows - could be dubbed.
