    Additional Details about this crash (My Father was Wilbur W Walton) From the 'Newark News' on Saturday July 24th 1948: The opening paragraph from the article "GENERAL SAVES CO-PILOT AFTER NEWARK CRASH" "Major General Robert M. Webster, commanding general of the First Air Force, stayed in a burning B-25 bomber after it had crashed yesterday to rescue the injured co-pilot, an aide, recalled today." The crew as named in the article: Major General Robert M. Webster of Fort Slocum NY, Pilot; Major Wilbur W. Walton of Fort Slocum NY, Co-Pilot; Captain William P. Renny of W Newton MA, General's Aide; Master Sargent Martin Barth, of Jackson Heights NY, duty position unknown. We found this video a couple of years ago and have been amazed by the footage.
