    Pylon Men : 01:18:14
    At the base of an electrical pylon a group of men prepare to raise an insulator to the top. In an open field at Basingstoke the men climb up the side of the pylon. Shots of the men working at over 100 ft in the air. They climb over the pylon frame work without any safety net or harness. One man on a tiny trolley moves along wires from one pylon to the next, below another man pulls him along with a rope. Dramatic top shots looking down at the men below.

    At the Abbey of Beaulieu in Hampshire, vintage cars and motor cycles arrive for a joint rally. Shots of the cars arriving with the drivers wearing traditional clothing. They drive through the little village and through the gates of the Abbey. At the gate a mean looking official with a fag in his mouth checks the drivers in. There is also a group line up from the Sunbeam motor cycle club rally. There is the chassis of an 1899 Daimler. lots of cleaning and polishing and fiddling. Captain Cecil Bernie fiddles with a 1901 engine. Lord Montagu drives a 1906 6 h.p. Dion Buton (?). WS of the Abbey with cars in front of it.
