    Various shots of owner of Southport Zoo, Mrs Helen Farrar, playing in garden with her pet lion Rajah, Lancashire. This section is identical to story in Colour Pictorial issue CP 071 from 07/05/1956, see record for film id 41.19 for further details.

    Intertitle: "RAF Mountain Rescue".

    Derbyshire. Various shots of RAF mountain rescue unit in action. The rescue team with their equipment get into an RAF truck and Land Rover. Truck and Land Rover drive along country roads and into mountains. The vehicles park at bottom of hill and the team get out and unpack equipment. The unit start to hike up hill, two carry a stretcher. The men climbing over rocks to top of hill - good CU of their boots climbing. Various shots showing men taking part in training exercise at top of hill: one man in strapped onto stretcher, the stretcher is lowered down steep cliff guided by abseilers. Shots of team walking down hill, carrying stretcher. This section is not a duplicate of at CP story - appears to have been made especially for Astra.
