  • Description

Unused / unissued material - dates and locations may be unclear / unknown.

Location of events unknown - somewhere in Britain, probably.

Various shots of Sherwood Foresters on army exercise. Censor cuts of river crossing exercise in July 1941. Footage shows an 'Ark' bridge being laid across a river and a tank crossing it. Brief shot of field gun being pulled into position.

Soldiers dressed as Germans lie on the ground, playing dead. One 'German' looks through binoculars at the action and calls his comrades to fight. Another trains a machine gun on enemy. Others lie in the grass and aim rifles at British over the river. Officer issues orders to two German soldiers who make 'Heil Hitler' salute. Several shots of 'dead Germans'. Man does stunt fall from a motorbike - presumably shot by the British.

Tank moves slowly over bridge then lays tracks for smaller armoured vehicles to cross the river. Anti-tank gun (?) goes over bridge. Bren gun carriers crossing bridge on completion.
