M/S of the war memorial surrounded by crowds of people, the camera pans slowly across them. People suddenly surge forward and look around, M/S of smoke from bombs covering people who are trying to get away. L/S as the crowds cheer and someone waves a Union Jack, the camera pans across them around all sides of the memorial. L/S of the people, some are holding placards up. L/S of smoke spreading across the crowd from the bombs.

    Intertitle - 'order restored ...... one of the most remarkable demonstrations ever seen in Irish capital - thousands cheer the Union Jack and sing God Save the King.' L/S as men march along through the middle of the crowds who are waving, the men carry a banner saying 'Irish Ranks Service Men' on it.
