    MS of bullet riddled car which the gangsters were driving. Pan to show body of dead gunman laying by car.

    Crowds of people are moved back by police.

    More shots of car and bullet holes.

    Crowd press forward.

    View of the scene - the body is loaded into a coffin which is put into an ambulance.

    This incident took place on 21 August 1931.

    Two policemen, Walter Webb and Edwin Churchill, were amongst the killed. Attached is a brief memorial to Officer Churchill....
