    Various shots of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr William Temple, visiting a Naval ship of the Home Fleet. He boards a ship and is greeted by Admiral Tovey. They walk down the deck and pose with Archdeacon Thomas Crick, Chaplain of the Fleet, and several Naval padres.

    The Archbishop leads the religious procession along the deck then takes a service under an awning on deck. He then takes a tour of inspection which includes watching a gun crew operating a pom-pom (gun).
