• Short Summary

Dogs and cats are treated at a new RSPCA animal hospital.

  • Description

    Holloway, London.

A new "up-to-date" animal hospital run by the RSPCA (R.S.P.C.A. - Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is featured.

Various shots of animals in the waiting room with their owners, then footage of Veterinary Surgeons (vets) performing various surgery on the animals. It is mostly cats and dogs in the waiting room and on the operating table. We see a cat getting an injection and a small dog having an x-ray. Closed circuit television is used to link the operating theatre to the lecture room so that operations can be studied as they are performed.

Cuts exist - see other record.
