    In the Hall of Honour of the Palace of Cigi (sp?) Lord Perth is seen signing the Anglo-Italian Pact on behalf of Britain. Mussolini's son-in-law, the Foreign Minister Count Galeazzo Ciano, signs on behalf of Italy. The pact concerns the Mediterranean sea routes so Egypt's Minister Mustafal Sarec Bey (sp?) also signs it. C/U of the pact, opened to show the signatures.

    Note: spellings of names may be incorrect; there is no paperwork so they have been taken from the commentary. Different shots of Lord Perth signing the Pact can be found in story of same name, tape id. 961.22 - no soundtrack.
