Ernest Bevin, the Iraqi Prime Minister Saleh Jabr, followed by several other dignitaries, entering Portsmouth Town Hall for the signing of the Anglo-Iraqi Treaty. MS. Bevin standing before mike, starts talking. CU. Bevin speaking, the Prime Minister of Iraq sitting beside him. He thanks Portsmouth for the arrangements of the ceremony, says he is glad to be in Portsmouth and continues about determination of British people to maintain the principles of liberty and justice. He starts talking of the treaty as a negotiation of friendship and mutual contribution to the world's peace.
