IThe vehicle is not a tank - it's the gun vehicle of a French self-propelled gun (SPG) built by Saint-Chamond. The complete SPG had two vehicles, a tractor which carried the crew and ammunition and supplied electrical power to the gun vehicle. This particular SPG was tested by the French Army in May 1918 and was used for trials at the front at Verdun in July 1918.
This vehicle was armed with an experimental 220mm howitzer built by Saint-Chamond. The wheels on the hull were intended to the used for moving on roads - the vehicle was jacked up and the wheels bolted on. This feature wasn't successful and dropped for the later SPGs.
There were 50 Saint-Chamond SPGs built with a 194mm gun and 25 with a 280mm howitzer but these weren't delivered until 1919 after the end of WW1.
