    Various shots of battalions of soldiers, including a marching brass band, in old fashioned uniforms with busbies walking up the Champs-Elysees. Crowds of people watch from the sides of the streets. Panning shot follows several soldiers as they lay a large wreath on the tomb of the unknown warrior, more soldiers (some French) watch them, standing to attention. M/S of a line of soldiers in tricorne hats standing beneath the Arc de Triomphe.

    Various L/Ss of the battalions of troops and the brass band marching down the Champs-Elysees in the opposite direction, away from the Arc de Triomphe. The troops all wear different styles of elaborate uniforms - some have plumes, others busbies and brocade. Many of the soldiers wave large American flags.
