The Alpine Rally took place from 19-25 July 1965.

The cars pulling away at 00:08 and 00:13 are both Mini Cooper models.

The cars at 00:16 and again at 00:20 are both Rover 2000 models.

"M/S as Daaf passes." - that should read DAF Daffodil.

"Clark and Porter's" - this is Roger Clark and JIm Porter.

    "A Renault speeds past" - it's a Renault R8 Gordini.

"C/U Ann Hall wiping her face with tissue, she is the Rover 2000's navigator" - no, this is Anne Hall's navigator, Pat Spencer.
