This is the 1938 All Ireland final replay between Galway and Kerry.
Kerry are the team with the stripe (a golden horizontal stripe on a green jersey) and Ga;way are the team in the maroon jersey.
The game ended in 2-4 0-7 (or in points 10 to 7) in Galway's favour
It was played on 23 October 1938 in Croke Park, Dublin for an attendance of 47,851
The first game was played 25 September 1938 at Croke Park in front of 68,950 spectators and though Galway led most of the game and scored 3-3 Kerry came back and scored 4 points to level the game at 3-3 to 2-6
John Joe Landers kicked the winning point for Kerry in the first match but the referee apparently blew his whistle before he kicked though Kerry supporters were adamant the ball was in the air when the whistle blew. Nevertheless, a replay was necessary which Galway won.
