    Intertitle - '400 officers and men of 2nd Leicestershire Regiment - the first big draft - reach Dover.' M/S of the men on the ship looking for their families on the dock. M/S of wives and babies waiting. M/S of one man with his family, he cuddles his child who waves.

    M/S of cups of tea being handed out to the men. M/S as they sit on the train station eating, L/S as the train draws in. Various shots as it leaves and they all wave out of the windows.
